Kenji Hikiishi (引 (ひき) 石 (いし) 健 (けん) 磁 (じ) , Hikiishi Kenji^?), also known as Magne (マグネ, Magune^?), was a villain affiliated with the League of Villains and part of its Vanguard Action Squad. She and the rest of her team serve as the main antagonists of the Forest Training Camp Arc.

Appearance

Magne was a woman with quite a wide, muscular build. Her shoulder-length hair was smooth, and a reddish magenta color, her rather square jaw was also thinly covered in facial hair. Her lips were notably big, appearing to be similar to Rikido Sato's, just slightly more pink-tinted in color. She always wore triangular, white-framed sunglasses, obscuring her eyes. Along with these, she also wore a dark orange shirt, which was unbuttoned revealing the white v-neck she had on underneath, blue jeans with a belt, and plain dark brown espadrilles on her feet.

Personality

Magne had a cruel and brutal personality, befitting a murderous criminal. Magne joined the League of Villains so that she would be free to live life the way she wanted; this is shown when she refused to be Overhaul's subordinate and attacked him. During her active role in the League, she was shown to be quite perceptive and suited for quick thinking, as shown when she deduced Izuku Midoriya had been the one to defeat Muscular and he needed to be put down and was the one that created the idea to go after the students after they rescued Katsuki Bakugo.

Abilities

Magne easily defeats Pixie-Bob.

Overall Abilities: Magne had proven herself to be a very capable villain, coupled with the good handling she has on her Quirk, Magnetism, which she uses for both offense and support. With the help of two allies that are of the same gender as each other, Magne could apply her Quirk abilities to launch one of them away from the other. Magne can also use her Quirk to surprise enemies, drawing them into close-combat range. According to Tiger, Magne's abilities garnered her a reputation of pulling off multiple top-tier crimes: 9 armed robberies, 3 murders, and 29 attempted murders.

During the Vanguard Action Squad Invasion, Magne ambushed Pixie-Bob by drawing her in and knocking her unconscious using the giant magnet the magnetokinetic carries. Magne attempted the do the same to Mandalay, but was intercepted by Tiger. While engaging Tiger, Magne was able to dodge his multitude of attacks and block one of his punches with ease. As Magne was able to predict Tiger's movements, the attack evasion continued for several minutes, until Magne got into an argument with Spinner over letting Izuku flee, giving Tiger the opening to knock Magne to the ground with one punch. Magne rose to her feet afterward, but was taken by surprise when Tiger used his Pliabody Quirk to wrap himself around the villain, successfully restraining Magne. In the midst of the Kamino Incident, Magne aided her teammates in a last-ditch effort to recapture Katsuki, but they were cut off by Mt. Lady, and incapacitated by Gran Torino. When the League of Villains came in contact with Overhaul and refused his offer to serve under him, Magne managed to take the yakuza leader by surprise by magnetizing him and reeled him in for an attack, she managed to land a hit and leave a scar on Overhaul, but was blown apart by his Quirk and killed as a result.

• Enhanced Strength: Magne was shown to be very physically strong and durable, as she was able to block multiple hits from Tiger, who has his own high physical strength.
• Tactical Intellect: Magne had a strong eye for observation, using her Quirk to take Pixie-Bob by surprise and swiftly knock her unconcious, with the latter's Quirk being the strongest of the Wild, Wild Pussycats and thus removing her from the battlefield quickly. She also identified Izuku Midoriya as the one who had defeated Muscular, and thus believed that he should have been killed, only to be stopped by Spinner.

Magnetism (磁 (じ) 力 (りょく) , Jiryoku^?): Kenji's Quirk allowed her to apply strong magnetic polarity to people around her within a 4.5-meter radius. She could magnetize a person's entire body or specific portions. Men are polarized south, and women are polarized north. Magne couldn't magnetize herself.

She can use this Quirk in conjunction with her weapon, a large magnet, to magnetize enemies and use the magnet to draw them in using their respective polarity. This can be used to brutal efficiency, especially with her strength.

Ultimate Moves

• Moonlight Flit Cannon (反 (はん) 発 (ぱつ) 破 (は) 局 (きょく) 夜 (よ) 逃 (に) げ砲 (ほう) , Hanpatsu Hakyoku Yonige-Hō^?): Magne magnetizes two people of the same gender causing them to repel each other, the person she is not grabbing flies away with extreme speed.

Giant Magnet: Magne carried a giant magnet wrapped in a cloth that she used in conjunction with her Quirk, allowing her to pull people she magnetized towards her.

• Magne's name contains the kanji for pull (引, hiki^?), stone (石, ishi^?), strong (健, ken^?), and magnetism (磁, ji^?).
• Magne is the first named character in the series to die.
• Kenji shares her first name with Kenji Tsuragamae; however, both names are composed of different characters and thus have different spellings.
• Kenji's English voice actor, Jeremy Inman, also voiced the Sludge Villain.
• Magne is a transgender woman, making her the second confirmed transgender character in the series.
  • The first one, a transgender man, is Tiger of the Wild, Wild Pussycats, with Tiger seemingly transitioning before the events of the series, and Magne having not medically transitioned.
  • Coincidentally, these two characters have both met and fought one another, due to being on opposite sides.
• She was a B-Rank villain.
• Before her death, it was revealed that Kenji had an unnamed friend who still supported her decision to live life the way she chose, despite not possessing the courage to do the same thing herself.
